In June 2010 Christies in Paris held the auction Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, Trésors de la Collection Veil-Picard, which included the work Jeune Femme Nue Allongée by François Boucher. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 20,000.00 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Boucher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sleep Of Venus in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,405,000.00 (€ 1,781,481.48).

Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, Trésors de la Collection Veil-Picard durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeune Femme Nue Allongée von François Boucher zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 20.000,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Boucher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sleep Of Venus im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.405.000,00 (€ 1.781.481,48).
