Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work Le Moulin à Eau: A landscape with a herdsman and his family by a mill by François Boucher. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 128,450.00 (€ 181,792.14). Admittedly, works by François Boucher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sleep Of Venus in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,405,000.00 (€ 1,781,481.48).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Moulin à Eau: A landscape with a herdsman and his family by a mill von François Boucher zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 128.450,00 (€ 181.792,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Boucher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Sleep Of Venus im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.405.000,00 (€ 1.781.481,48).
