Abritant une histoire des écritures, quand le spectateur sortait des couloirs interactifs, il découvrait alors cette immense construction sans fin dont chaque pierre illustrait les différentes visions, issues de toutes les cultures, de Tours de Babel.

The work La Tour De Babel by François Schuiten was auctioned at Artcurial in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 25,199.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by François Schuiten have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work L'Evasion was auctioned for EUR 37,894.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit La Tour De Babel von François Schuiten kam im Oktober 2013 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 25.199,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von François Schuiten konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit L'Evasion für EUR 37.894,00 versteigert.
