This artwork by Frans de Hulst achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2000. In the Old Master Pictures auction, the work A roadside inn in a wooded landscape sold for GBP 14,100.00 (€ 24,138.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Frans de Hulst; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Zwei kleine Landschaften sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of EUR 37,200.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Frans de Hulst erzielte im April 2000 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Pictures wurde die Arbeit A roadside inn in a wooded landscape für GBP 14.100,00 (€ 24.138,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Frans de Hulst; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Zwei kleine Landschaften im November 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.200,00.
