In the Old Masters auction, the work The Disputation of the Holy Sacrament sold for USD 200,000.00 (€ 176,491.35) - well above the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans Francken II - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diana and her nymphs in a wooded landscape, which sold at auction in December 2019 for GBP 395,250.00 (€ 467,139.24).

Für andere Arbeiten von Frans Francken II mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diana and her nymphs in a wooded landscape beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für GBP 395.250,00 (€ 467.139,24) versteigert wurde.
