Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude by Fred Carasso was sold in the 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2004. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,434.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Carasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A nude sitting in December 2001 with an auction result of EUR 25,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude von Fred Carasso wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.434,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Carasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A nude sitting im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.850,00.
