Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Waterfall by Fu Baoshi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,472.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fu Baoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 16,764,000.00 (€ 17,119,323.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn Waterfall von Fu Baoshi wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 420.472,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fu Baoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.764.000,00 (€ 17.119.323,91).
