Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work Rowing out on a Norwegian Fjord by Georg Anton Rasmussen. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,540.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georg Anton Rasmussen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morgennebel im Fjord in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 15,480.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rowing out on a Norwegian Fjord von Georg Anton Rasmussen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.540,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Anton Rasmussen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Morgennebel im Fjord im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.480,00.
