Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Terrier Chasing A Rabbit; Two Terriers Rabbiting by George Armfield was sold in the A VIEW OVER EATON SQUAREA PRIVATE COLLECTION auction at Christies in London in November 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,291.84). Admittedly, works by George Armfield have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work British A Fox Stalking Three Rabbits in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,164.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Terrier Chasing A Rabbit; Two Terriers Rabbiting von George Armfield wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion A VIEW OVER EATON SQUAREA PRIVATE COLLECTION bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.291,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Armfield auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit British A Fox Stalking Three Rabbits im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.164,95).
