Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2017 Christies in London held the auction The Astor Collection From Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire, which included the work A Golden Eagle With Outspread Wings On A Rocky Outcrop by George Edward Lodge. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,143.50). Other works by George Edward Lodge have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,473.61) in December 2017 for the work Study of rabbits; and Study of a blue hare.

Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Astor Collection From Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Golden Eagle With Outspread Wings On A Rocky Outcrop von George Edward Lodge zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.143,50) einen neuen Besitzer.
