Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georgia O'Keeffe could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Alfred Stieglitz, Georgia O’Keeffe, Juan Hamilton: Passage auction, the work Autograph Manuscript, Titled In Another Hand "Girards — Morocco" changed hands for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,493.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgia O'Keeffe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jimson Weed/White Flower No. 1 in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 44,405,000.00 (€ 35,701,077.34).
