In March 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Gray Two-Piece Skirt Suit By K. C. Chang, Made In Hong Kong, With Hand-Sewn Black Velvet Vest by Georgia O'Keeffe for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,233.57). This price was achieved in the auction Alfred Stieglitz, Georgia O’Keeffe, Juan Hamilton: Passage at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgia O'Keeffe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jimson Weed/White Flower No. 1 in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 44,405,000.00 (€ 35,701,077.34).
