The work My Delight by Gerard Dillon was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,920.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerard Dillon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dreamer in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 416,806.45).

Die Arbeit My Delight von Gerard Dillon kam im Mai 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 40.920,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerard Dillon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dreamer im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 416.806,45).
