Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,031.50 (€ 3,240.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Battista della Rovere - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Christ In Glory, Adored By The Virgin, St. Francis, A Saint And Angels, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,281.80).
