Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape with a natural bridge, with men killing serpents by Giovanni Francesco Barbieri was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,420.00 (€ 17,651.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Francesco Barbieri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work King David in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 5,193,250.00 (€ 6,244,298.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape with a natural bridge, with men killing serpents von Giovanni Francesco Barbieri kam im Januar 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion.
