Sold at the lower estimate price
The work A lady in a yellow dress and red robe, with a feathered headdress, arranging a basket of flowers by Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari was sold in the Important Old Master & British PicturesDay Sale Including Property From The Collection Of The Princely House Of Liechtenstein auction at Christies in London in July 2008. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 19,057.67) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bathsheba at the Bath; and The Angel Appearing to Hagar in the Wilderness in January this year with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 348,130.41).

Die Arbeit A lady in a yellow dress and red robe, with a feathered headdress, arranging a basket of flowers von Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion Important Old Master & British PicturesDay Sale Including Property From The Collection Of The Princely House Of Liechtenstein bei Christies in London versteigert.
