Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scogliera by Giuseppe De Nittis was sold in the Dipinti Antichi auction at Christies in Milan in May 2012. The price achieved of EUR 9,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe De Nittis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 624,923.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scogliera von Giuseppe De Nittis wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Dipinti Antichi bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe De Nittis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian l'Arc De Triomphe, Paris im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 624.923,87).
