This artwork by Granville Redmond achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2020. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work A Field of Poppies with Snowcapped Mountains in the Distance sold for USD 12,750.00 (€ 10,425.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Granville Redmond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work California Poppies in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 424,000.00 (€ 499,646.48).

In der Auktion California and Western Art Online wurde die Arbeit A Field of Poppies with Snowcapped Mountains in the Distance für USD 12.750,00 (€ 10.425,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00.
