Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Guan Liang achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Drama sold for HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guan Liang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hardoon Garden (Xihu) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 1,225,434.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guan Liang erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Drama für HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guan Liang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hardoon Garden (Xihu) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 1.225.434,78).
