Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lin Chong - Character from the Water Margin by Guan Liang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 32,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,769.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guan Liang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hardoon Garden (Xihu) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 1,225,434.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lin Chong - Character from the Water Margin von Guan Liang kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 32.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.769,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guan Liang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hardoon Garden (Xihu) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 1.225.434,78).
