Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zhong Kui by Guan Liang was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,888.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guan Liang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hardoon Garden (Xihu) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,200,000.00 (€ 1,225,434.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zhong Kui von Guan Liang kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.888,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guan Liang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hardoon Garden (Xihu) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.200.000,00 (€ 1.225.434,78).
