This work of art by Gulam Rasool Santosh could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,193.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gulam Rasool Santosh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 108,151.27).
