Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Knålls Herrgård, Värmland" (Knåll manor house, Värmland) by Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2014. The price achieved of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 7,392.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winterlandschaft. 1908. in July 2020 with an auction result of CHF 97,900.00 (€ 91,239.74).

Die Arbeit "Knålls Herrgård, Värmland" (Knåll manor house, Värmland) von Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad kam im Dezember 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 7.392,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winterlandschaft. 1908. im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 97.900,00 (€ 91.239,74).
