The work Egret by Guy Taplin was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,384.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Guy Taplin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twenty Spoonbills in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,886.88).

Die Arbeit Egret von Guy Taplin kam im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.384,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guy Taplin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twenty Spoonbills im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.450,00 (€ 26.886,88).
