Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dancer and Pipe by Hamed Nada was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 218,500.00 (€ 157,262.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 180,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hamed Nada - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Henna Eve, which sold at auction in April 2010 for USD 602,500.00 (€ 452,939.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dancer and Pipe von Hamed Nada wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 218.500,00 (€ 157.262,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 180.000,00 – 220.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hamed Nada mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Henna Eve beobachtet, die im April 2010 für USD 602.500,00 (€ 452.939,41) versteigert wurde.
