The work Monkey by Han Meilin was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2018. It achieved a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,528.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Han Meilin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rooster in April this year with an auction result of HKD 74,400.00 (€ 75,976.96).

Die Arbeit Monkey von Han Meilin kam im September 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.528,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Han Meilin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rooster im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 74.400,00 (€ 75.976,96).
