Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings Sale, which included the work Landscape With Christ On The Road To Emmaus, A Woman Herding Cattle To The Right by Hans Bol. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 54,050.00 (€ 68,845.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hans Bol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Elegant Hunting Party Before The Abbey Of Rouge-Cloître, Near Brussels in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 241,250.00 (€ 276,870.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape With Christ On The Road To Emmaus, A Woman Herding Cattle To The Right von Hans Bol zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 54.050,00 (€ 68.845,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Bol auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Elegant Hunting Party Before The Abbey Of Rouge-Cloître, Near Brussels im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 241.250,00 (€ 276.870,47).
