A top price for He Huaishou - as previously expected
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Ink Art, which included the work River Of Illusion by He Huaishou. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, River Of Illusion is the most expensive artwork by He Huaishou that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Ink Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit River Of Illusion von He Huaishou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist River Of Illusion das teuerste Kunstwerk von He Huaishou, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
