This artwork by He Shaoji achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy in Running Script sold for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 94,234.96) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by He Shaoji have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Draft Books Couplets And Poems in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 514,000.00 (€ 451,273.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von He Shaoji erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 94.234,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Shaoji auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Draft Books Couplets And Poems im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 514.000,00 (€ 451.273,05).
