Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Homage to Serge Férat: Haba et Alban Roussot Collection, which included the work Village Et Bateaux by Hélène D'Oettingen. The price achieved of EUR 5,576.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hélène D'Oettingen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 89,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Homage to Serge Férat: Haba et Alban Roussot Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Village Et Bateaux von Hélène D'Oettingen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.576,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hélène D'Oettingen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 89.250,00.
