Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait of A Young Girl by Henri Gervex was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 10,438.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Gervex achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French rolla in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,385,000.00 (€ 1,807,278.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of A Young Girl von Henri Gervex kam im April 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 10.438,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Gervex erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French rolla im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.385.000,00 (€ 1.807.278,85).
