Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Paysage ensoleillé by Henri Joseph Harpignies for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,272.16). This price was achieved in the auction The European Art Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Joseph Harpignies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue prise dans l'île de Capri, Golfe de Naples in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 160,000.00 (€ 171,526.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paysage ensoleillé von Henri Joseph Harpignies für USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.272,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The European Art Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Joseph Harpignies erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vue prise dans l'île de Capri, Golfe de Naples im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 160.000,00 (€ 171.526,59).
