Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Homme Au Pigeon - Londres, 1934 by Dora Maar was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,099.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dora Maar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Picasso in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 360,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Homme Au Pigeon - Londres, 1934 von Dora Maar kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.099,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dora Maar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Picasso im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 360.750,00.
