Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II, which included the work Haifa Panorama by Herman Rose. The price achieved of USD 1,638.00 (€ 1,361.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Herman Rose have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers On A Chair in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 8,190.00 (€ 6,807.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Haifa Panorama von Herman Rose zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.638,00 (€ 1.361,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Rose auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers On A Chair im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 6.807,98).
