In the Maritime Art auction, the work The Milazzo in the Pool of London sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,222.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hermanus Koekkoek Jnr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sailing out on choppy waters in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 25,200.00.

In der Auktion Maritime Art wurde die Arbeit The Milazzo in the Pool of London für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.222,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hermanus Koekkoek Jnr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sailing out on choppy waters im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.200,00.
