Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hsiao Chin | Avanzare Verso il Giardino Eterno - 15 by Hsiao Chin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 31,444.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hsiao Chin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue in April this year with an auction result of HKD 372,000.00 (€ 379,884.78).

Die Arbeit Hsiao Chin | Avanzare Verso il Giardino Eterno - 15 von Hsiao Chin kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 31.444,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hsiao Chin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 372.000,00 (€ 379.884,78).
