Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hu Ruosi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Appreciating The Waterfall sold for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 40,402.95) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Ruosi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mount Hua Scenery, which sold at auction in October 2011 for HKD 1,700,000.00 (€ 156,994.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Ruosi erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Appreciating The Waterfall für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 40.402,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Ruosi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mount Hua Scenery beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für HKD 1.700.000,00 (€ 156.994,34) versteigert wurde.
