Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Fine Asian Works of Art, which included the work Flowers and Bird by Huang Junbi. The price achieved of USD 3,584.00 (€ 3,282.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Junbi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lofty Mountains Amidst Clouds in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 5,020,000.00 (€ 552,510.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Fine Asian Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers and Bird von Huang Junbi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.584,00 (€ 3.282,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Junbi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lofty Mountains Amidst Clouds im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.020.000,00 (€ 552.510,30).
