Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Waterfall by Huang Junbi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,056.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Junbi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lofty Mountains Amidst Clouds in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 5,020,000.00 (€ 552,510.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waterfall von Huang Junbi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.056,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Junbi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lofty Mountains Amidst Clouds im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.020.000,00 (€ 552.510,30).
