Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds by Huang Yongyu was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 42,277.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yongyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Scenery in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 19,300,000.00 (€ 2,077,937.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds von Huang Yongyu wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 42.277,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Yongyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Scenery im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.300.000,00 (€ 2.077.937,47).
