In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Ducks At Autumn Pond by Huang Yongyu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 2,375,000.00 (€ 271,458.99), 58% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Huang Yongyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn Scenery in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 19,300,000.00 (€ 2,077,937.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ducks At Autumn Pond von Huang Yongyu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 2.375.000,00 (€ 271.458,99) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Yongyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn Scenery im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.300.000,00 (€ 2.077.937,47).
