The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,125.00 (€ 4,246.34), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hubert Dalwood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tree, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,680.84).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 4.246,34) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hubert Dalwood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tree beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.680,84) versteigert wurde.
