In the 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures auction, the work A coy glance sold for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,226.61) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo Kauffmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Musicians in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 74,400.00 (€ 62,025.84).

In der Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit A coy glance für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.226,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugo Kauffmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Musicians im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.400,00 (€ 62.025,84).
