Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yuichi Inoue achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence auction, the work Yume (Dream) sold for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 165,092.72) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuichi Inoue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shisso (Painted In 1972), which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuichi Inoue erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence wurde die Arbeit Yume (Dream) für HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 165.092,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Inoue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shisso (Painted In 1972) beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61) versteigert wurde.
