In June last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Deux Filles - Circa 1907-1909 by Jules Pascin. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,149.00 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Pascin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homme et femme (recto); Les robes claires (verso) in October this year with an auction result of GBP 302,400.00 (€ 347,239.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deux Filles - Circa 1907-1909 von Jules Pascin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.149,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Pascin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homme et femme (recto); Les robes claires (verso) im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 302.400,00 (€ 347.239,21).
