Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Crowning Of Homer by Jacopo Amigoni was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 70,486.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo Amigoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bacchus And Ariadne; Venus And Adonis in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,604,480.46).

Die Arbeit The Crowning Of Homer von Jacopo Amigoni kam im April 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 70.486,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
