Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish and Sporting Pictures, which included the work Flower Market, Copenhagen, Denmark by James Kay. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,739.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by James Kay have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2012 the work Highway of the Nations was auctioned for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,915.14).

Im August 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Scottish and Sporting Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower Market, Copenhagen, Denmark von James Kay zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.739,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
