This artwork by James Morrison achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2012. In the A Celebration: The Studio of Alberto Morrocco & Binrock House, Dundee auction, the work Mist at Stracathro sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,821.19) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by James Morrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Montrose in Winter in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,514.88).

In der Auktion A Celebration: The Studio of Alberto Morrocco & Binrock House, Dundee wurde die Arbeit Mist at Stracathro für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.821,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Morrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Montrose in Winter im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.514,88).
