However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Adriaensz. van Staveren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Die guten Samariter., which sold at auction in March 2007 for CHF 66,000.00 (€ 40,693.58).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 15.547,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Adriaensz. van Staveren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Die guten Samariter. beobachtet, die im März 2007 für CHF 66.000,00 (€ 40.693,58) versteigert wurde.
