In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work La Rencontre Matinale Sur Les Hauteurs De Sèvres by Jean Baptiste Camille Corot. The result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 124,688.28) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Baptiste Camille Corot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venise, vue du Quai des Esclavons in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 9,009,844.00 (€ 7,720,517.57).
